SFPA Electro-Hydraulic
Actuator - Bettis E Series
The SFPA electro-hydraulic
system utilizes the Bettis hydraulic actuator powered by an SFPA
power unit and controls. Efficient heavy-duty modular designed motor
and pump convert electric power to hydraulic power. Self-contained
in a highly efficient package with controls, provide the benefits
of electric actuators, but with advantages for fail-safe action,
modulation and high torques (from 3,000 - 6,000,000 lb. In. depending
on models)

Diaphram - GVO
Series Linear Operator
Bettis GVO Series linear operators have been designed for service
in safety shutdown and control applications. There are six basic
models that address low pressure or high pressure operation and
double-acting, spring-return or fail-safe configurations. Double-acting
models are adaptable to any type of gate valve and have cylinder
sizes ranging from 3 inches through 36 inches.
They come with optional
jackscrew manual overrides and materials of construction for special
applications. Spring-return models are adaptable to direct or reverse
acting gate valves, API or ANSI and have cylinder sizes ranging
from 8 inches through 36 inches. High pressure models are suitable
for 2000 psig hydraulic service.

WellGuard
Series Actuator
The WellGuardTM diaphragm range of pneumatic Control Fluid Powered
linear actuators is designed to be used in conjunction with Bettis
valve bonnets to provide open and close control for major brands of
API 6A through conduit reverse acting gate valves fitted to oil and
gas wellheads and production flow lines. These actuators can be used
with API 6D and ANSI B16.34 valves where the bonnets are built to
Bettis design. |

Emergency
Shutdown Systems
The PressureGuard(tm)
Self-Contained Hydraulic Emergency Shutdown Systems are designed to
provide reliable valve shutdown capability when an external power
source is either not available or not dependable. The PressureGuard
system has proven to be highly successful in years of field service
under some of the most demanding operating and environmental conditions.
The module can be used with either rotary or linear spring-return
hydraulic operators to provide a fail-safe system adaptable to ball,
plug and other quarter-turn valves as well as reverse-acting gate
and other linear operated valves. The PressureGuard system offers
built in temperature compensation and pressure relief. It provides
the foundation for a flexible system utilizing a variety of available
sensing and control options Bettis - PressureGuard |

Gas/Hydraulic
Operators and Control System
Gas/Hydraulic Valve Actuators (often referred to as Gas over Oil type)
use a high pressure gas supply (typically 300 to 1480 psig) as their
power source. Often used in gas/transmission pipelines in which the
pipeline media is used for the actuator's power source. Actuators
are available in rotary (1/4 - turn) and linear versions and can be
supplied with practically any required control system including remote
control and linebreak systems. |

Electro-Hydraulic
Operators and Control System
Our electro-hydraulic power units are manufactured using field proven
components and technology to satisfy the most rigorous applications.
Hydraulically powered
double acting and spring return valve actuators are the primary
application for this type of system. We offer central hydraulic
systems designed to operate several valves from a single control
center. Electro-hydraulic systems are designed to provide sufficient
pressure and volume to stroke mutliple valves either singly or in
unison, depending on the customer's requirements. Accumulators are
also available to provide fail-safe and ESD functionality.

Multiport
Flow Selector
The Bettis Multiport Flow Selector allows the diversion of fluids
from a single flow line to a test outlet or a sampling device. A single
Multiport Flow Selector can manifold as many as eight flow lines through
it simultaneously. While the one outlet is isolated, the flow from
the other seven is combined into a separate group outlet. This unique
flow selector can be used in a variety of oil and gas or process applications. |

Multiport Electronic
Controller
The Bettis Multiport Electronic Controller (MEC) is a microprocessor
- based system designed specifically to control and monitor the
status of the MPFS. The MEC contains an absolute optical encoder
allowing the monitoring of the plug's position to approximately
0.5°, retaining the memory of the position even without power.
The controller card micro-processor analyzes input from the encoder
and the host computer to accurately position the plug.

Quarter-Turn
Electronic Controller
The Quarter Turn Electronic Controller (QEC) is a rugged optically
encoded position controller suitable for on-off valve applications.
It is a micro-controller based system which provides improved accuracy
for position monitoring, eliminates problems associated with the mechanical
adjustment of micro-switch cams and allows digital communication with
multiple units over a single cable. |

Linebreak Detection
Systems:
LineGuard
The LineGuard 2100 Electronic Linebreak Detection System is a
self-contained pipeline monitoring and linebreak detection device
intended to be installed
at a pipeline valve site and is designated to provide data acquisition
and supervisory control (both locally and remotely through telemetry/SCADA)
of a single valve actuator. The LineGuard 2100 guards your pipeline
in three ways - rate of pressure drop (ROD), low pressure protection
and high pressure protection. Further it records data for future
analysis
DeltaMatic
The Bettis DeltaMatic(tm) linebreak detection system is designed
to automatically monitor a gas pipeline and send an instrument
pressure signal if a predetermined rate of pressure drop is exceeded.
The system is typically used to detect a pipeline break situation
and signal a valve operator. This automatic shutdown function
provides safety and environmental protection in populated areas,
river crossings, remote areas and other locations.

SP Pressure
Pilot
The Pressurematic
SP series pressure pilot is part of the Bettis line of pressure
sensory devices used to monitor input pipeline or process pressure.
The pilot is suitable for use in high or low pressure shut down
applications, utilizing either a pneumatic or hydraulic signal.
Pilot set
points are determined by piston size and spring rate. A piston converts
pressure into motion when a pre-determined set point is reached
PressureMatic
High/Low Pressure Pilot
The Bettis Pressurematic line of pressure sensory devices are used
to monitor pipeline or process pressure. They are suitable for use
in high and low pressure shut down applications utilizing either
a pneumatic or hydraulic signal. Set points are determined by piston
size, spring rate and adjustments to the trip mechanism.

Isotest
Bettis Isolation test valve is used in conjunction with the SP and
Pressurematic sensing devices, and enables calibration of the pressure
pilot/switch without shutting down the flow line. |

Relays
and General Control Components
Bettis Switching Relays are pneumatic/hydraulic poppet style switching
devices - manual or pilot operated - for use with high or low pressure
control applications. In pneumatic service, they can operate with
high pressure gas to 1500 psig, or to 150 psig in low pressure service.
The switching relays are also available as hydraulic models, operating
to a maximum of 2160 psig. The Bettis relays are available as 3-way
and 4-way 2-position bodies with a range of switching options including
pneumatic or hydraulic pilot, mechanical and manual lever |
