We began over 35 years ago as a supplier and manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and power units. The company has grown a lot since then! We now include the distribution of pneumatic components (the largest and oldest stocking SMC distributor in Canada), aluminum structural framing and automation systems (Bosch Rexroth), and valve automation. Robotics and automation are now a part of the growing services offered by SFP.
35 years ago, SFP manufactured power-units and cylinder actuators (welded construction). Now Emerson/Bettis has in SFP a valve automation and controls center (VAC) that also manufactures for other VAC’s across the world. Today Surrey Fluid Power Automation ( a Division of Surrey Fluid Power Ltd.) specializes in the application of automation technology, to better serve our customers. As subject matter experts, in various industries, we offer a depth and knowledge of systems that just can’t be found easily in today’s fast moving technological world. SFPA provides service to end users, designers, engineers, contractors and maintenance/operations people.
